Coconut Macaroons

In a bowl whip up:🍥3 egg whites till you get stiff peaks 

Add to that:

🍥1/2 cup sugar

🍥1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

🍥1/2 teaspoon baking powder

🍥1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes

🍥1/2 cup mini chocolate chips or 3/4 cup regular chocolate chips
Mix well and drop spoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet – bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the surface is golden brown. Allow macaroons to cool before removing to a platter (they are soft until cooled, then they harden)

*Note: I also made these in regular and mini muffin sizes but the baking time will vary
